WHO ARE WE AND
WHEN DID HEC START?

Hanoi Entrepreneur Community (HEC) is created by each and every single member who has joined and will be joining in the future. HEC aims to catch and nurture entrepreneurship spirits. We organize regular events for members to share experiences, ideas and opportunities. HEC has a wide network of impactful entrepreneurs and leaders, coming from 30 countries.

Hanoi Entrepreneur Community was born in June 2018 as a combination routed in Entrepreneur Social Club (an American based club founded by American entrepreneur Michalle) and Leaders-Entrepreneurs-International-Community (an international community founded by Jen Vuhuong (more about Jen at www.jenvuhuong.com)

Jen Vuhuong - From an almost kidnapped being called impossible weird countryside silent kid to an outgoing engineer to a government scholar then now international personal and entrepreneurial leadership coach, author, community and incubation builder.

Jen has 15 years of training experience for people coming from 30 different countries in the topics of personal and leadership development and innovation & entrepreneurship; published 7 books based on qualitative and quantitative research in the field of human development and entrepreneurship leadership potential with American and Vietnamese publishers. Jen also has more than 5 years of experience in managing engineering projects for Samsung International Corporation (Vietnam), Dell partner (Emerio, Malaysia).

Combining the engineering and training, coaching experiences; Jen co-builds and the director of the national incubation/venture builder program Lab2market organized by BK Holdings (HUST), SwissEP, BK Fund and NSSC (NATEC, Ministry of Science and Technology) - helping 50+ scientists to commercialize their research results. She also co-builds and leads SIC (S-growth Innovation Coaching) - training the first 100 innovation coaches and mentors for Vietnam.

Jen is the national champion of public speaking in Vietnam (2019, 2020, 2023), 2-time TEDx speaker, the first Vietnamese awarded Senior Coach of EMCC, the 2nd Vietnamese awarded the highest level of leadership of Toastmasters International,  the first Vietnamese female leader on the shortlist in the field of training of the Women of the Future Awards South East Asia, the top 50 leaders with Kindness in Asia Pacific.
Jen has trained, mentored and coached 10 000+ entrepreneurs and leaders to transform themselves, their life and their businesses. Jen loves sports and people!
